Salted Pretzels brownies with caramel and sea salt

Looking back a few months through my cooking photos and I have to admit I am hungry and I wish I could make some of this brownies. I don’t usually crave sweet things but I know if I was to make this ones I won’t be able to resist.

I had an opened bag of pretzels left at the back of the cupboard and after a good old kitchen rummage I came out with some of my favourite brownie ingredients. All I had to do is a mad run to the shops to buy some caramel sauce but if you have time you could make your own.
The brownies work really well if you want to use a box of brownies mix too, just choose your favourite flavour.

After mixing the brownie ingredients pour evenly 1/3 of the mix into a lined tin, add two layers of overlapping pretzels and spoon the rest of the brownie mix carefully on top.
Bake it until a toothpick comes out clean let it cool slightly and spoon the caramel sauce on top. Finish with sprinkle of sea salt over the top.

I dare you to eat only one 😉
