Baking and I

Although I love cooking, baking has always been something that I haven’t done a lot until quite recently. Maybe it is the fact that I don’t really have a “sweet tooth” and I don’t crave cakes or biscuits or even chocolate when I am hungry.

But since starting to cook and experiment more with my food and enjoying the freshness and taste of every recipe cooked from scratch I decided to give it a go. Luckily I have 3 people at home to taste, in some cases devour my sweet creations.

And it all started last Christmas, living in the UK with the tradition of cakes and pies it was an ideal time to let myself go and to try new things…

My favourite are without a doubt this “Forgotten Cookies” A light chocolate merengue cooked overnight in a warm oven

Since then I have expanded my baking to many other things but more about that soon…
