Hot Cross Buns & Butter Pudding – Pudín de Semana Santa

Yes, I know it is a bit early for Easter treats but let’s be honest in the UK as soon as the Christmas trees come down hop come the bunnies to remind us that Easter is coming.
I do try to resist and not buy anything before the right time but with hot cross buns it is not easy. I do love them toasted with a bit of butter for breakfast. SOMETIMES!!!!!

For our pudding today you will need:
4 stale hot cross buns
150ml double cream
100ml milk
3 eggs
Lemon zest
Raisins or sultans
Caster sugar
Butter
Cinnamon

Si, ya se que es muy pronto para postres de Semana Santa pero la verdad es que en Reino Unido no han terminado de quitar el árbol de Navidad ya tenemos a los conejitos recordandonos que se acerca la Semana Santa.
Intento resistir y no comprar nada antes de la època apropiada pero con estos bollos de Pascua no es fácil. Me encantan tostados con mantequilla para desayunar. DE VEZ EN CUANDO!!!

Para este púdin necesitas:
4 bollos de Pascua, puedes usar bollos de leche o pan del día anterior
150ml de crema
100ml leche
3 huevos
Ralladura de limón
Pasas
Azucar
Mantequilla
Canela

🇬🇧Open in half and spread with butter, sultanas and lemon zest
🇪🇸Abrelos por la mitad y unta con mantequilla, pasas y ralladura de limón

🇬🇧Add the milk, cream, eggs and sugar mixture before topping with cinnamon and some extra sugar
🇪🇸Añade la leche, crema, huevos y azúcar ya mezclados antes de terminar con canela y más azúcar

🇬🇧Bake for about 30 minutes and serve with ice cream or fruit
🇪🇸Hornea sobre 30 minutos y sirve con helado o fruta
