Spiralo “The Great”

I have been toying with the idea of buying a spiralizer to add more vegetables (raw or cooked) to my diet since the summer. I read every review and listened to every recommendation possible before just deciding to buy the “Spiralo” from the German supplier of manual kitchen utensils and houseware product “Lurch”

On opening the box I really didn’t think much of it, smaller that I thought and made almost totally of plastic?? But I shouldn’t have worried and I was soon getting dinner ready.

One of the benefits is that it is compact enough to keep it ready for use in the kitchen work top.

It comes with 3 blades that as you can see in the picture are stored neatly within the unit.

My first try with one of my favourite vegetables “zucchini”. I am not sure what it is with the word “courgette” but I don’t find it as tasty 😉

    1. Good morning Millie, I am really happy with it. I was a bit worried at first because although I wanted one quite compact (space is limited too) obviously it had to do the job. So far so good. And I keep it on the work top so I don’t forget about it 😉
